The Public Sign-up page allows citizens to sign up for alerts from their local government. They can also go here to download the Mobile app.

This article will show you what information is necessary to sign up and how to fill out the form. The Form in this article is the most basic version. It is customizable for clients. 

Important Note 

For the weather alerts selected you will receive advanced notification of weather events with targeted alerts to your email and/or SMS-enabled phone if your location is included in the designated area.

Instructions

1. Navigate to your community public signup link. The link is unique to your municipality.  
   • Follow these directions to find your unique public sign up URL
2. Select Sign Up 
   
   
3. Fill out the Sign-Up form
   
   
   • First Name (required): subscribers first name 
     
   • Last Name (required): subscribers last name 
   • Email Adress (required): subscribers email address
   • Cell Phone (required): subscribers main cell phone
   • Cell Phone 2: subscribers secondary cell phone number if applicable
   • Home Phone: subscribers home phone number if applicable 
   • Work Phone: subscribers work phone if applicable
   • Current location (required): subscribers general location or chosen location
4. After typing in the location you can choose the language preference
   
5. Choose what kind of Weather Alerts you want to receive 
   
   Note: For those weather alerts selected you will receive advanced notification of weather events with targeted alerts to your email and/or SMS-enabled phone if your location is included in the designated area.
6. Read the Terms of you and select I agree > I'm not a robot> Sign Me Up 
   
   
7. Once you sign up you will see the options for unsubscribing and you will receive a confirmation email.
8. Respond to the text or email to confirm your subscription
