Designate the Notification Type a Phone Number Receives

Overview

Members can log in to CivicReady and select (opt-in/opt-out) the communications they receive. For a specific number, they can select to only get voicemails.

CSV Format

To specify what type of message the user receives, use the .CSV file:

  • Add "1" after the phone number, separate with a "||", to send a text message (SMS)
  • Add "2" after the phone number, separate with a "||", to send a voice alert
  • Add "3" after the phone number, separate with a "||", to send both, text message and a voice alert
  • Note: "|" is a vertical bar symbol.

Instructions

  1. Create your CSV file with the applicable notification type
