Designate the Notification Type a Phone Number Receives

Instructions

Members can log in to CivicReady and select (opt-in/opt-out) the communications they receive. For a specific number, they can select to only get voice mails.

To specify what type of message the user receives, use the .csv file:

  • Add "1" after the phone number, separate with a "||", to send a text message (SMS), 
  • Add "2" after the phone number, separate with a "||", to send a voice alert,
  • Add "3" after the phone number, separate with a "||", to send both, text message and a voice alert.
  • Note: "|" is a vertical bar symbol.
