Add/Invite Users

Navigation Instructions

  1. Navigate to Groups

  2. Select a group

  3. Select Group Members on the left-hand side

  4. Click Add Members

    • Note: There are three ways to add a user: invite a user, add a new user, upload a .CSV file.
    • We recommend option 3, upload a .CSV file, since this will give you the opportunity to make sure all you add all of your user's information at one time.
    • If you upload phone numbers do not use dashes (-) or any other character, only numbers.

Options to Add Members

Option 1: Invite a User

  1. Enter an existing user's email address

  2. Hit Enter on your keyboard to confirm email address

  3. Select Edit Welcome Email if you wish to make edits to the email

  4. (Optional) Edit the Name, Email, Subject, and Body Content of the Welcome Email

    • Note: Select Save this as the default email template for adding members to this group to save your new version of the welcome message as the new default template

  5. Hit Add to confirm and send emails

Option 2: Add Manually

  1. Enter an email, if existing user

    • Note: If you want to add an existing user, use Option 1 for best results.
  2. Enter information for new user:

    • First name
    • Last name
    • Email
    • Phone
  3. Click +Add Another to input information for more new users

  4. Select Welcome info to edit the Welcome email message

  5. (Optional) Edit the Name, Email, Subject, and Body Content of the Welcome Email

    • Note: Select Save this as the default email template for adding members to this group to save your new version of the welcome message as the new default template

  6. Click Add to confirm and send emails

Note: You can also add members with API and SFTP.

Option 3: Upload CSV

  1. Select Browse to locate an existing file from your computer

  2. Click Upload to upload the file to the system

  3. Select Welcome info to edit the Welcome Message

  4. (Optional) Edit the Name, Email, Subject, and Body Content of the Welcome Email

    • Note: Select Save this as the default email template for adding members to this group to save your new version of the welcome message as the new default template

  5. Use the drop-down menu to identify headers of your .CSV file

    • .csv Formatting
      • Note: A maximum of 4000 users can be added per file upload on the web, unless you have an SFTP account.
      • Column headers are not recommended for your .csv. It will try to create a User with the Header information and give you an error. Please use the following format for the data in your columns:
        • FirstName
        • LastName
        • Email; Email2; Email3
        • UserName
        • Phone|Carrier|Type; Phone2||Type; Phone3
        • GroupID; GroupID2; GroupID3
        • DatabaseID
  6. Click Submit to confirm the file and send the email
