Set Group to No Unsubscribes

Overview

One of the recommended default settings for Emergency Alert groups is No Unsubscribes. This ensures that schools meet federal requirements and that people receive your vital messages. 

Users can choose not to receive TTS or text via their set preferences, but they are required to receive emails.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Groups
    Groups.png
  2.  Select your desired group
    Select_a_Group.png
  3. Select Settings
    Settings.png
  4. Scroll to Member Settings; select the checkbox Do not allow members to unsubscribe from this group

    • NOTE: By FCC regulations you must allow users to the option to unsubscribe from Text/SMS and Text to Speech messages. 
  5. Scroll to the bottom and select Save
