Insert Caller ID to Convert Text-to-Speech

Overview

When an authorized administrator uses a unique group email address to email a specific group, the CivicReady system has the ability to convert that email into a Text-to-Speech (TTS) message. 

As a default, you can set the caller ID for a specific group to convert the email to TTS messages.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Groups
    Ready_Groups.png
  2. Select a group
    SelectGroup.png
  3. Click Group Settings
    GroupSettings.png
  4. Scroll to Email Settings 
    EmailSettings.png
  5. Enable Send as TTS
    EnableSendasTTS.png
    • Note: Emails sent to this group by authorized addresses will also send as a text-to-speech alert. 
  6. Enter the Caller ID
    CallerID.png
    • Note: This will now automatically convert the email to a TTS message with this specific caller ID.
  7. Scroll to the bottom and click Save
    Save.png
