Who can use this feature?
When an authorized administrator uses a unique group email address to email a specific group, the CivicReady system has the ability to convert that email into a Text-to-Speech (TTS) message.
As a default, you can set the caller ID for a specific group to convert the email to TTS messages.
- Navigate to Groups
- Select a group
- Click Group Settings
- Scroll to Email Settings
- Enable Send as TTS
- Note: Emails sent to this group by authorized addresses will also send as a text-to-speech alert.
- Enter the Caller ID
- Note: This will now automatically convert the email to a TTS message with this specific caller ID.
- Scroll to the bottom and click Save
